The entire island of Oahu and Hawaii offer many surf photo opportunities. A couple places to consider staying are:
- Backpacker’s Inn and Hostel - The Hawaiian North Shore is referred to as the Seven Mile Miracle, so it’s best to have a comfortable place to stay when you plan on covering such a distance. The Backpacker Inn and Hostel employ a group of friendly individuals who can guide you to the best place to surf for your level of experience, as well as the ideal locations to shoot your surf photography.
- Shark’s Cove Rentals - While the name inspires you to think of a jaw’s movie, the reality is a comfortable stay at affordable pricing right on the shore of the beach. Comprised of four homes, Shark’s Cove is approximately 75 steps away from the Shark’s Cove Pupukea Marine Reserve known for snorkeling and diving as well as its close distance to the surfing environment of the Seven Mile Miracle.
There are other places to consider, but among the most considerate and willing to go out of their way to accommodate their guests, these two stand out.
